Introduction:

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as the "king of plastics," is a polymer made from tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It is white, waxy, translucent, and highly resistant to heat and cold, capable of long-term use at temperatures between -180°C and 260°C. It is also resistant to acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents, and is virtually insoluble in all solvents. PTFE also offers high-temperature resistance and an extremely low coefficient of friction, making it an ideal coating for easy-to-clean water pipe linings, in addition to its lubricating properties.

Ease of Processing: Can be flanged.

Aging Resistance: Withstands prolonged exposure to ozone and sunlight without aging.

Corrosion Resistance: Withstands all strong acids, strong oxidizers, strong reducing agents, and various organic solvents, except molten alkali metals, fluorinated media, and temperatures above 300°C.

Product application:

PTFE rods are available in both press-fit and molded versions. Among known plastics, PTFE offers the best chemical resistance and dielectric properties, can operate in temperatures from -180°C to +260°C, and has the lowest coefficient of friction. It is primarily suitable for long products and custom-made mechanical parts, including seals/gaskets, rings, wear plates/seats, insulation components, corrosion-resistant applications, mechanical components, linings, the oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries, and equipment manufacturers.
