Made by spiral wrapping PTFE tape around an elastomer core and jacketing it with inert polypropylene yarn. The braided construction is spirally coiled to form an impenetrable barrier to liquids.
The final jacketing of polypropylene yarn provides complete protection for the packaging and makes it abrasion resistant. The packing's unique core structure allows it to be sewn together to form an everlasting seal, eliminating the possibility of leaking at the connection.
PTFE with Acrylic Braided Packing with Rubber Core is also available in an infinite form for known tank lid sizes.
